  1. For test server will we have easy access to all the stuff (rank, cannons, ships etc) to extensively test as much as possible in the shortest time possible? In the past I can remember grinding on test bed, not interested in doing that again.
  2. When I decide to use a Loki rune I assume I'm going to go through 5 Loki runes to get a decent battle out of it. Loki runes are not hard to get and usually not expensive to buy either. So this is not a major issue imo, it is just inconvenient/annoying.
  3. If you own the port, you control what clans has access it's features. There is nothing here to adress. Same as you home, you paid for it and you decide who can access it I do not mind if we remove upgrades, skill books, port bonus, wood types and different cannon types. And then have all battles start with neutral wind. Then player skill in battle would be the only difference. But this has never been the direction of this game. This has always been a grinding game, and you grind to get an advantage. If your writing about Sweden here I totally agree.
  4. The effort that goes into upgrading a port fully is immense. We would not bother to do it if it was open for all (with neutral karma). Then we could just sit on our hands and wait until someone else upgrades their port. And go in with our neutral alt characters there to craft ships. Resources would be gathered the same way and we would use alts in the correct nation to actually sail the stuff to the crafting port. This will give absolutely NOTHING to the clans that owns the port and actually did all the work. When it is done in a organized way there will be no more PvP opportunities. And as long as extracting/crafting resources, cannons, ships etc. does not contribute to tax for the clan owning the port they get nothing in return. The way I see this is that it is a rip-off and the port bonus feature can just be removed from the game, because it will be accessible to all players who have more than 1 character.
  5. Will all neutral players be able to craft ships with port bonus in ports own by foreign nation clans? With out the clan owning the port being able to control their access to port bonus or benefit anything from neutrals using the investments in their port? If this is the case this is an serious insult to all those players who joined the massive investment grind in their ports! The clan who owns the port should control if port bonuses are available for neutral or not! And if neutral get access to port bonus then they should pay a significant tax to the clan owning the port, for each ship they craft! We have to get something back from the massive grind/investment we did. Giving neutrals access to this with out them contributing anything, should really not be on the table for discussion. It is an insult to those of us that invested massive amounts of time and resources in upgrading our ports.
  6. The server has a ping, but my log in que number is just increasing..
  7. I got kicked from the game and I'm unable to log back in. Same for 11 other players spread out around Europe and Russia. We where in the middle of a PB vs AI and it was as good as won.. 😕 We are back ingame now but we are all in OW now. We got kicked out of the PB while we waited.. @Ink @admin
  8. As the port became more valuable and upgradable the clans that own them got even more locked to their valuable belongings. After a wipe/reset if these clans did not quit I can guarantee your it would be the same clans/members who rise to power once again, just under a different clan tag and maybe in a different nation. And then again someone would ask for a wipe.. If the goal is to avoid a stall in RvR what you need is to the divide the victorious nation. There has been some suggestions towards this in the past. If if you go with the carrot and a stick approach then all is good. So if there was a easy way for a clan to switch nation with all owned ports, port investments and everything to another nation with out losing port investments, buildings etc. in combination with a penalty for being the victorious nations that is slowly bankrupting all clans in the nation. Then there would be no need for a wipe, clans would migrate to other nations.
  9. What your asking really for is nerfing the AI's boarding advantages. You should specify that in thread title or your thread will crushed
  10. What do we as playbase gain from a "propper power progression"? This is increasing the equipment advantage (port bonus, wood bonus, ship type, perm upgrade and skill books) for the top 10% richest players in the game. The current major issues this game has will just increase: The new players and casuals have no chance on their own to be competitive. We lose the influx of new players and the casuals will stop playing. The old veterans who been abused with this hard core changes so many times in the past are tiered of fighting the same old players again and again. NA is niche game and looking back every time we get hit with this massive grind/time sinks the active player base takes a imo logical dive. NA is not EVE. So please keep an eye on the player population while your implementing these changes.
  11. To extract 1 teak log now cost 500 reals. Same for Locus, White Oak and I guess Sabicu. Live Oak is 1000 reals per log! Cost of crafting ships just skyrocketed! Why did you decide to do this? As far as I'm aware this was not necessary or asked for by the players. The reals grind behind crafted ships just increased massively unless you just craft fir/fir or Oak/Oak ships..
  12. This should be added in game as a readable encyclopedia we can access while sailing around! Would be brilliant for new players.

  14. I find the current HDF grind much more rewarding for the players involved in the actual grind. Wood chests in addition decent loot is a massive improvement over the loot in the old hostility missions, that was the same as in kill missions = not rewarding at all. And then there is the flag battle is self, that is an opportunity for a pure PvP battle. So this is a massive improvement over the previous system where defender had a AI fleet on their side. And still in most cases they never bothered to show. There has to be a short timer on these flags or we (as a gaming community and multiple nations) will just save them up and use them for multi flipping our enemies. I'm not saying HDF fleets are easy, but we know where to find them, they are always around and if you sink 2-3 of them the clan is basically guaranteed at least 1 flag. 1 flag is really all we need. I could see and argument being made for shorting the timer on the flags, because the larger nations with big player bases are able to get their hands on a lot of them. But I haven't really tried to place a real flag yet, so this is just me assuming the worst down the road.
