You need to take some diplomacy classes if your end goal is actually peace. The snarky comments, threats, accusations, and what not isn't the greatest way to conduct talks. You think if Obama went to Vladimir and said, "Listen you've been killing our trainees and it has to stop or we will come over and kill you." and then Biden puts up a Reddit post showing ten US fighters annihilating a Russian destroyer for laughs that Vladimir wouldn't return the threats and snarky comment and then go kill some more trainees? Let's not mention if you then put bounties on top Russian leaders head. Then you show up at the UN claiming all you've tried to do is broker peace. Actions speak louder than words. You speak of peace but you color your posts and the actions ingame and on places like reddit tell everyone you'd like war but want to play the victim. There is no doubt they are returning it in kind but if you and the Spanish had approached this differently I'm sure a much more favorable outcome would have been had.

I wonder if the Spanish realize what they are doing in this thread will just increase hostilities?

Clan tags on Open World
Puppet replied to Bigvalco's topic in Current Feature Improvement Suggestions
+1 in favor of clan tags showing in open world. If you saw some ship in open seas back then you'd probably know which nation, fleet, and prob task force she belonged to or whatever organizational structure that nation had.- 32 replies

PVP Server 2 Specific Guilds
Puppet replied to Thomas Goodman's topic in Guilds, Clans and Trading companies
Excalibur, USMC, Somali Coast Guard, and Sons of Liberty are in discussions on PVP 2 in the United States Nation about forming a coalition. Look for those fleets if you are interested in activity and pew. -
This is the kind of thread I'm talking about in the open world thread I made. Admins please either do something about this. You've added this to stop people from griefing each other but as you can clearly see by all these tribunal threads what you've really done is allowed the griefers to have a better method of Grief. Normally we would be able to just kill griefers and be done with them. You are protecting griefers with these rules.

There are tons of ports. No mega clan would be able to lock every port down. This game isn't just for randoms or they wouldn't have added the clan mechanic. I can't disagree with you more on that notion. Why should random Bob leech off of a clan who has put a lot of hard work into being able to attack a port as a clan and fight another full clan for that high level highly skilled and coordinated port battle? There is absolutely nothing stopping Random Bob from joining port battles where Clans can't field 25 or where other Randoms purchase a flag to engage in a port battle. I don't understand the leech mentality and the I should be able to piggy back on others hard work. Anyone can get their own flag and put their own port fleet together. What will end up happening is second nation fleets will be created for screening purposes or Clans will just go pirate cause their tired of people messing with their planned events. All the Clans going pirate or having a second nation fleet killing the randoms in their main nation to clear the field will be worse for the game in the longterm than a clan only option. ----- +1 for the Port Assault Fleet idea.

You'd only be able to kick people within the start timer of course not after the fight starts and not be allowed back in. I wouldn't normally respond to troll post like that but someone probably take him serious. Come on people of course you wouldn't be able to do that. It blows my mind some of the statements that are written on here. Then again welcome to the Internet I guess. Can we keep this to a constructive discussion.

The kick button would only be given to the person who iniated the port battle or combat. Not like Bob who joined third could kick everyone out. So a clan works their butt off to get all the required ships, practice line formation and such, buy the flag, plan and strategize and their told to bad so sad anyone can piggy back on your hard work and potentially ruin it. Sounds like a bad philosophy that will end up turning off Clans. Why are port battles open to everyone. Everyone didn't pay on the flag. Port battles are THE clan vs clan draw right now mechanic wise. Aren't small and large battles the open to anyone and all feature. That seems like a bad philosophy to adopt for a game. As for your first paragraph Henry wouldn't that create alot of he said she said. How does one determine if said vessel is your target or their target. What if one person wants to sink it and another capture it. Does the person who initiated the battle get priority in that situation? Just seems like unneeded drama and grief potential to me. I can tell you right now what will happen if it becomes a problem with our port battles. We will open up another Nation and recruit a secondary fleet. Then we will sail around together and use the other fleet to kill the randoms. Players will find solutions to problems but is this really what we want to see. Much better just to allow us to select who we would like to join us in battles. You wouldn't have Captains disobeying the Admiralty during this time going into other fleets engagements. Think what would happen if US fleet one went to take Port X and random Captains tagged along with permission. They would be stripped of command. Ship taken away. Court martial ed. Henry is that your opinion or the stance from the Devs that you wrote?

So a couple house keeping questions. If me and a couple clan mates start a fight with traders brig and we plan to capture it but some other player of same faction comes in and is trying to sink said shop or keeps running his ship in between our boarding ship to stop the boarding action what recourse do I have? We can't sink him because green on green isn't allowed. We can't keep him from joining our battles. What are to do except get griefed. With the current rules that are supposed to stop grieved you've given them help. Another note. My clan has 25 mercury and we head to a port battle with the flag we bought. Random players come along without us inviting them. We pop the port battle and everyone starts joining but a couple of the randoms get in leaving a few of our clan members out. We can't sink them or force them out. We can't lock it so only clan members or friends can join. What recourse do we have towards this type of griefing. Thanks in advance Devs. The game is great and I look forward to all the future improvements. As for my concerns. It would be nice to have a couple settings so only clan, clan and friend, clan ally friend, or anyone can join instanced battles like pve and port battles. Or at least give us a kick button which while annoying would also solve a lot of issues.

Excalibur Merged With Sons of Liberty
Puppet replied to Frost's topic in Guilds, Clans and Trading companies
We will still be active over one EU server once we hit max level. We will be able to deploy to both servers when all is said and done. Thanks for sharing your TS3 with us and we look forward to still working with TF, TDA, and BSP. -
Mirror Entire PVP Servers
Puppet replied to Puppet's topic in Current Feature Improvement Suggestions
Now you are making things up. I have answered all of your other concerns which I even listed out for you a couple posts back. Victory in battle, database, flag, ports, ect. So if you did state this concern I did not see it. Please stop saying I'm just ignoring objectives as I'm clearly not as I've listed responses to every concern so far. The only one not actually solved is the database time and resource which I've stated the Admins will need to tell us yes it will take to much or not not a big issue to do. As for this particular concern. Let me make sure I understand you. You have a Vicon server 1. You log on after maint and onto server 2 and sell it for 1 gold. You then log off server 2 and back on server 1 where the vic is still at. You then do stuff with it. So you'd just have to treat all sales as officially taking place at the end of the day aka maintenence period. After maint the ship would be gone. Now the only real issue I see is selling same ship on multiple servers. Maybe there is a simple check to verify if that happens and deletes all but one entry in the tables or maybe that is the first real issue with mirroring PVP server. Each ship has a unique identifier which simple check could be run against for duplicates. Again we would have to see what the admins say about their database architecture and the time and resources such a task would take may or may not be worth it but only they can provide that information. -
Mirror Entire PVP Servers
Puppet replied to Puppet's topic in Current Feature Improvement Suggestions
I'll restate this again one more time as I've said it atleast three times. XP, gold, and ships mirrored. Ports and everything else does not mirror. Including flags and materials. A victory on one server won't mean anything on another except the gold, XP, and ship you were in or captured. During maintaince the XP and gold would be mirrored then it would mirror any ship not piloted within 24 hours. It's three tables with a check on one table for use. They are already doing one of said table. I've stated this previously several times in this thread.
