Travel between Outposts

OK...it's bad enough that I can nolonger transport goods between freeports.  I learned that the hard/expensive way yesterday.  But now, today, I also learn that I cannot use the OUTPOSTS option to return to one of my OPs either!  For me, this is the final straw.  

I do not have the countless real life hours to sail everywhere on this map to do miniscule, nearly pointless things in the hopes of doing/building something useful for myself or others to use.    A 'game' is supposed to have some element of 'fun' to it.  Thus far, with this release, I am finding it frustrating, laborious and tedious.  I simply do not have the real life hours to commit to a 'game'.  Either fix this or I am going to just uninstall the 'game'. 

That would be a shame after a year playing it.  Do you guys even have QA and CM managers?  I honestly begin to wonder.
